However, her second album Fearless from 2008 showed an songwriter discovering her voice and a wider fan base. Fearless was successful not only in the United States, having six platinum-certified singles. In fact, the Top Ten songs Love Story and the hit song You Belong with Me were the main reasons for this. However, it did well all over the world. Speak Now delivered almost two years later consolidated that popularity and pushed Swift towards the top of fame. The popularity of Swift only grew through her subsequent three albums -- Red (2012) 1989 (2014), and Reputation (2017) Reputation (2017) which saw her move into a realm of pop music where she already belonged. She was in the forefront of pop even after she changed her signature style in her twin albums folklore & Evermore in 2020.
