Selena Marie Gomez (/s@'li:n@ Gomez/s@-LEE-n@ GOHmez born on the 22nd of July, 1992) is an American singer, actress, and producer. Gomez's acting career began with the children's TV series Barney & Friends (1902-2004). When she was a teenager, she became famous by playing Alex Russo on the Disney Channel television show Wizards of Waverly Place (2007-2012).
